Pledge against Gender Based Violence

I condemn and submit myself to the plight of the president of the republic about violence against women and children of our country.

I am who i am because of my mom proudly so and i will stand tall and defend woman against gender based Violence in my ward and South Africa. So i pledge my signature

Was raised by women ,they mean the world to me and I vow to protect and cherish them

I am a survivor of a gender based crime and I have a case opened that keeps getting postponed, from 2022, it is now 2024 and the assaulter is still out on bail making my life hell! I hope this signature will help me and many others! We are so tired! My God.

I teach my boys to respect women as I do and talk to men and boys to do the same.

I pledge to become the man I was born to be... Loving, caring, protecting and being available for the good of women.

I Commit to No Violence against Women and Children

As much as you Love and care for your mother so must any other women be treated with respect love and dignity.

When as a man you raise your hand on your wife, and you feel happy. Were you going to feel happy if you were a woman, and a man raise his hand on you.

No woman should be abused on their gender but must treated with respect and greater understanding

I’ll always intervene in any situation that seeks to endanger a woman’s life, no matter the risks to mine.

As a Man, the Citizen of this republic of South Africa by birth.... here to take a responsibility to protecting and supporting women's, the emancipation of women's in our lifetime, and end GBV. Our women's must free, safe and potected, I pledge.

I sign this pledge because I want our beautiful country to prosper and to be a much better country for our future generations. I do this not just as a pledge but as a commitment to serve the people of South Africa in my communities. I, as a man in this country, want to live in a nation that advocates equality amongst all genders, races, cultures, and any sort of background irregardless of what it may be, for we are all people.
