After 30 years of our newfound democracy, violence against women continues to plague our society. We call on all men to actively contribute to a diverse and rights-based nation. Women are the pillars of our communities, and we must support them in every way possible. I take a stand against GBV. I bring into focus the below Acts which are currently in the process of being Amended. The Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act broadens the definition of sexual offenses, closing gaps to ensure more protections for survivors. The Domestic Violence Amendment Act simplifies the process for obtaining protection orders and enforces better responses from law enforcement. Lastly, the Criminal and Related Matters Amendment Act imposes stricter bail and sentencing conditions for GBV offenders, focusing on victims' safety during court...

Let us be together in this matter and take responsibility for being human. Let's man up and take care of our children with love and respect.

Women are our air, water, and sunlight. Lets protect them and love them.

I pledge to prevent GB against women

The pledge is important and should even be in school code of conducts so that we as men from an early age have no excuses for our actions. But we also humbly request women to not abuse this and take it as a sign of weakness as some women treat, provoke, and even abuse men knowing they'll be in deep consequences for retaliating back.

With this pledge I am committing to being part of the solution to ending GBV in South Africa !
