Operation Vulindlela

This is a joint initiative of the Presidency and National Treasury to drive structural reforms and support economic recovery. It aims to modernise and transform network industries, including electricity, water, transport and digital communications.

Operation Vulindlela Highlights

  • Increased the licensing threshold for embedded generation to 100 MW

  • Corporatised the Transnet National Ports Authority
